Roskilde Festival Announces Exciting Lineup for 2023 Event

 The Roskilde Festival has announced the full lineup for its 2023 event, and music fans are in for a treat. This year’s festival will feature over 100 artists from all around the world, including some of the biggest names in the music industry.

The festival, which is set to take place from June 24 to July 1, 2023, will see a diverse range of artists taking to the stage. Headlining the festival this year are some of the biggest names in music, including international superstar Lizzo, who is set to bring her inimitable style and energy to the stage. 

The legendary Busta Rhymes is also set to perform at the festival, marking a rare appearance for the iconic rapper whose most recent show in Denmark dates back to 2008.  Kendrick Lamar, Burna Boy, Lil Nas X, and Atlanta rapper Latto will also take the stage at the festival  as part of the impressive lineup of international stars.

The Roskilde Festival  also announced the return of UK drill duo D-Block Europe, known for their hard-hitting beats, strong melodies, and sunny vibes. In addition, UK doom metal legends Electric Wizard is also set to perform, making their comeback to the festival after their gripping performance in 2014.

Alongside the main stage acts, the festival will also feature a range of performances from up-and-coming artists, and much more. The festival’s organizers have stated that this year’s lineup aims to inspire positive change.

“Following last year’s huge celebration with the 50th edition of Roskilde Festival, we now kick off a new phase. This year’s line-up is put together to show that positive change is possible, which makes Lizzo the perfect act to headline our festival,” said Anders Wahrén, the festival’s Head of Programming in a statement

The festival is dedicated to advancing sustainability across multiple fronts, including environmental, artistic, social, and economic initiatives.
